Toronto Symphony Orchestra's New Creations Festival
Osvlado Golijov will serve as the Composer in Residence for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's New Creations Festival which runs from February 25 - March 3, 2010. The opening concert features Azul with cellist Alisa Weilerstein, as well as Three Songs for Soprano and Orchestra with Dawn Upshaw. On February 27, Katia and Marielle Labeque will perform the Suite on La Pasión según San Marcos, for two pianos and orchestra. Peter Oundjian conducts.
